Women don’t take time.

We push. We handle. We keep it all together.

From my mother, who tried so hard to fight her way through mental illness, my grandmother celebrating life while getting closer to a long 3 digits lifetime, to a founder I admire who sold her company while raising two young kids, I’ve seen what women are made of.

Resilience isn’t a buzzword. It’s lived. Daily. Quietly. Powerfully.

We lead companies. We raise families. We hold space for others. We make sure things work, even when they shouldn’t. But here’s the thing: when do we stop? When does it become about us?

Here’s the honest answer: not often enough.

Somehow, “me time” still feels like a guilty pleasure, instead of what it really is a non negotiable. We’re so used to carrying the load that taking a break feels indulgent. But it’s not. It’s survival. It’s sanity. It’s power.

Selfcare isn’t soft. It’s strategy.
Rest isn’t weakness. It’s resistance.

We talk about empowering women, so let’s start here:
Make space for yourself. Even when it feels like you shouldn’t. Especially then.

Because if we’re going to keep building, leading, and lifting others, we need to be whole ourselves.

So here’s your reminder: take the damn time. You deserve it.
